BIOGRAPHY: In 2003, John Abraham acted in his maiden Bollywood venture Jism when he was thirty. It was a successful film but he ahd to work hard from there to reach where he is today. He has appeared in a number of successful movies since then which include Dhoom (2004), Kaal (2005) , Garam Masala (2005) and Taxi No 9211 (2006). In 2005, John faced angry threats but still went ahead to play the lead role in the Deepa Mehta film Water, which deals with the sad fate of Indian widows in traditional Indian society. His recently released films are: Baabul, Kabul Express, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love, were critically acclaimed and were averagely received at the Box Office. He is slowly but steadily becoming a star with a bright future in the indusrty.
